Users who earn “pearls” on their profile for giving career guidance are expected to uphold the highest standards of genuine, helpful engagement. Abuse of the pearl system, including fabricated or low-effort advice for the purpose of accumulating pearls, may result in account suspension.
All content, features, design elements, trademarks, and technology that make up the oyster Platform — excluding User Content — are owned by The Kind Social Media Company and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without our express written permission.

These links are provided for your convenience only. oyster has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party sites. The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we work hard to deliver a reliable and high-quality experience, oyster makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Kind Social Media Company and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Platform. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) USD $100 or (b) the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Kind Social Media Company and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of: (a) your use of the Platform; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any rights of another person or entity.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our Platform, business, or applicable laws. When we do, we will revise the “Effective Date” at the top of this document and notify you via email or an in-app notification. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
